Stained glass artist

Hi, my name is Iris. I'm from the Netherlands, and I've lived in Portugal since 2010.
I love making stained glass art (tiffany method). Not only for myself, but I've sold a number of pieces, and I've also made some commissions.

I like to try all kinds of styles, not only square or round pieces.  I prefer free form pieces because I believe that trying to fix everything into a shape is not always adding to the piece.

All of my work is unique, I never make more than one of each piece.

On this website I share my work with you, and you can see the pieces that are for sale.

Feel free to have alook around.

The making of...

I love to share some insights in the making of stained glass pieces in Tiffany style.

Basically to make a piece you have to prepare the pattern, cut, grind and clean the glass pieces, foil them, and solder them together.
It involves all kinds of tools, materials, and safety equipment.
Here are some examples.
